Hi! this is my game Bomble Bees.
It's the first game i've made on godot and my submission for the GMTK game jam 2026
You control the wasp with W,A,S,D and dash with SPACE.

Thanks to everyone that tried my game and gave feedback. I ran out of time before submission time but i definitely plan to polish the game and add more content later so i welcome feedback/things you’d like to see. Some things people have noted:
-Orange text doesn’t pop out enough from the background (i should check my monitor settings)
-Score keeps going up after you die (whoops! that’s on me)
-The game definitely needs more sounds besides the bee’s explosion (i’ll work on it)
-There’s no dash cool down so you can spam it (i kinda wanted to see what would happen but I’ll probably add a cool down in the future)
The explosion push back, sound, and effect feels sooo good. Also the score continues to go up after you have lost
Yep! i missed that bug before the deadline. After GMTK2026 is done I'll definitely polish things up and change things around. Glad you liked the effects.
